About Us

POLR was founded on the principle of community. A close-knit group of Army Infantrymen, reflecting on the loss of their brothers to suicide, realized the solution was clear: we have to take action—because we can’t afford to lose anyone else. This urgency became the foundation for POLR and our retreat program.

We understand that sacrifice is part of the job, but we also know that the support of a strong community is essential after leaving the service. True relationships aren’t built on shallow connections but through shared experiences and overcoming challenges together. That’s why we developed our retreat program—to bring veterans together for short, immersive experiences that build real bonds. They will face challenges, share their stories, and forge deep connections. Even after the retreat ends, they remain a community that stands by each other, long into the future.
